* Since its inception THF trained more than 4,000 workers and volunteers in various countries including Yemen, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Syria, and Indonesia and diaspora communities in the UK. Training programs were provided to staff and volunteers of national and community-based organizations. In many occasions, the result of these workshops was the start of umbrella organizations for coordinating civil society work.

* THF trained humanitarian workers from Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Libya and Egypt on principles, structures, practices and values of humanitarian work. This training covered a range of topics from the history of humanitarian practice, its philosophical foundations, and debates around causes, effects, impacts, and responses to pressing issues of poverty, marginalization, climate change and philanthropy.

* THF also provided training on internationally recognized humanitarian standards and practices such as SPHERE, Humanitarian Accountability Partnership, International NGO code of conduct among others,

* THF also trained organizations in theories of civil society and its adaptations to the cultural contexts of Muslim communities. In one instance, this led to the development of a code of ethics based on Muslim tradition for humanitarian work practitioners.
